Nanostructure-enhanced infrared spectroscopy

چکیده

Abstract While infrared spectroscopy is a powerful technique that provides molecular information such as chemical constituents and structures of analytes, it suffers from low absorption cross-section resulting in sensitivity poor signal-to-noise or signal-to-background ratios. Surface-enhanced (SEIRA) spectroscopy, which supported by nanometer scale structures, promising technology to overcome these problems conventional (IR) enhances IR signals using the field enhancement properties surface plasmon resonance. Recently resonant SEIRA was proposed, signal factor significantly improved. In this review, we present an overview recent progresses on technologies including nanoantenna- metamaterial-based SEIRA, also techniques with nanoimaging capabilities.
